Guided tour around the Smolenice Castle, its saloons, lecture halls, tower and courtyard.

All participants:

Welcome dinner with music performance of the Ragan trio.

The ensemble plays music which is a mixture of different styles of enjoyable melodies for listening.

alternative guided excursions to

a) Bus trip to the castle Červený Kameň (Red Stone). Visit of a near-by castle with a rich and valuable collections, well-known also for its huge cellars.

b)  Hiking tour to the Little Carpathians  (walking - touristic outfit and boots desirable. Participants will experience a nice tour to Havrania Skala, Havranica, Záruby (768 m), Ostrý Kameň (Medevial Ruins), Brezinky and back to the Smolenice castle.

All participants:

Wine tasting in the castle chapel. Eight sorts of white, rose and red wines, mainly  from the Little Carpathian area will be offered for tasting.

Visit of the Driny cave.

Cave with fissure corridors decorated with rich sinter fillings. The cave was discovered in 1930, current show track is 410 m long. Eleven species of bat live in the cave.

The event will take place in the castle courtyard

(in the main dining room in case of bad weather).
